Today as I stand on the same pier with my wife Jane of 24 years (who used to fish on the same pier with her dad when she was young) all we can see now are massive Wind Turbines lining the horizon down the coast…

A lot has changed over the last 40 years. Renewable energy, what used to be a distant vision for Jane and I is steadily encroaching on all of our lives. There is no denying it, wind and solar power is here to stay.

The beginning of our life together?

I remember it like it was yesterday. That warm spring day in May of 1984 when I first met Jane. I knew that day that I had found ‘the one’ I had been searching for, that we would spend the rest of our lives together. It would forever be ‘Les and Jane’, not just Les anymore…
